When the global pandemic COVID-19 struck our country, it changed all of our lives immediately. As you probably know, medical and dental offices across the country were shut down for a time. We were allowed to reopen in May only after undergoing dramatic changes to ensure your safety.
Since reopening, we are happy to report that we have successfully completed over 1000 patient visits without a single issue regarding transmission of this virus.
Some of the steps that we have taken to assure your safety include:
⦁ Pre-screening all employees for exposure risk to COVID-19 on a daily basis.
⦁ Daily temperature checks by all staff members beginning April 1.
⦁ Requiring all employees to wear a mask at all times including office staff.
⦁ Separating front desk employees through the use of plexi glass barriers.
⦁ Providing N-95 masks and face shields for all clinical team members
⦁ Strategic scheduling of at risk patients and procedures when appropriate
⦁ Pre-screening all patients prior to entry for exposure risk to COVID-19 and requiring temperature checks for all patients before entering the clinical area of our office.
⦁ Limiting waiting room use to necessary caregivers only
⦁ Frequent sanitizing of all patient contact areas
⦁ Requiring all patients entering the office to wear face masks and use hand sanitizer upon entering and leaving the office.
Although this list is lengthy, it is by no means a complete list of all of the steps that we are taking to make your visit to our office as safe as possible. We comply with and follow recommendations put forth by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
